Is the gay community bitter that there can be no true marriage for them as it will always be considered "gay marriage" or "same sex marriage?

Granville Stray: The word and meaning of marriage is only 'exclusive' to man and woman because of historic ignorance of the ways nature makes us. Man has always wrongly thought that everyone should be born heterosexual, ignoring the reality that since the year dot, many have not been born to that expectation. At least 6% of the world population are born gay and another 30 odd% born bisexual. It is all innate, an inborn instinct for us all that gradually brings the realisation to our conscious mind of what feels natural for us, as individuals. Enlightened societies are beginning to realise this true fact and along with that has to be a change in the perception of natural and right. Only those still influenced by the many myths associated with homosexuality and their own limited ability to embrace the diversity of the human species will doggedly believe that heterosexuality is the only norm. But rational thought should bring the comprehension that is we are all born as natu! re intended, then we should all be equal in the liberty and freedom we have to live our lives in harmony with one another. If only the same hysteria about homosexuality could be applied to the real horrors of this world, man might be much wiser in upholding the gift of life and the power of humanity and compassion. No one is bitter except those who refuse to see the real world they live in....Show more

Davis Zou: Marriage is between a man and a woman. Look in a dictionary and see for yourself. Gay "marriage" isn't marriage.

Nicolas Cooley: I looked at my marriage license, it's a standard form; I was married, I was not 'gay married' or 'same sex married' I was just married. You may be bitter because you can't have marriage all to yourself any more, but it isn't like there's only so much marriage to go around. So put on your big boy pants and deal with it

Teodoro Lamond: No. Well as much as straight people as there's will always be "straight marriage" or "o! pposite sex marriage"

Lilli Kochel: Sorry - you can't ch! ange reality. There has been marriage equality before, in many cultures and there will be again. "true marriage" is a made up phrase used by certain very sad religious groups. Other religious groups - which in America have equal weight - have celebrated all marriages the same for a long time. The attempt of those from the very sad groups to control all other groups is even sadder - but it doesn't change anything. You can assert anything lad or lass, but its dust in the wind compared to reality.Have a nice day.Hermes...Show more

Arlen Lopiccalo: My marriage is the same as any marriage. My marriage certificate has the exact same words as anyone else's, so it's as true a marriage as they come.As time passes, marriage between same sex couples will be a norm and we will no longer differentiate. Once interracial couple'smarriages were treated as inferior and labelled differently, and today they are seen as the same. So too will this era progress....Show more
