Sherri Drakos: Based on your post, you sound more savvy than most. I would simply have an emergency fund which could be used for an unexpected dental treatment. It is far more cost effective in the long run than buying a policy individually. Unless your employer is offering this as a benefit, it generally is not worth buying it yourself. Luke Gacusan: None. There are no good insurance plans for dental. Getting and using an insurance plans ! for dental usually costs $50 to $100 more than the same dental treatment would have cost without insurance.
