The Google Adwords program is one that I use regularly and allows your company to maintain a daily maximum budget, so that you don't overspend on the ads. It's an easy and great way to get started.

Arlen Decorte: oh dang. good question. im gonna have to go with online businesses/etc. because online you barely have to advertise to put your stuff out there. i know with my blog, ive had it for 2 days so far and been advertising for free .. and ive gotten almost 300 views. which is damn good for putting zero effort into it.
