Sonya Volcko: Children attend primary chool for 7 years, from the age of 4 or 5 years. Then they attend secondary school for 5 years until the age of 16 years. At that point, they can legally leave school and get a job or go to a technical college for further education or vocational training or stay on at school and enter the 6th form for 2 years and take their A levels. With A levels, they can go on to College or university to get a degree.
