Why won't my bluetooth microphone work on PS3?

Jamika Gregorio: If your able to hear them but not able to talk you might want to see if you have to press something to talk, if your mic has a feature to mute yourself might want to check that as well. You can also try testing out your mic go to your settings and under accessory you should find something to test your mic....i know some game like resistance fall of man and warhawk you have to press the R3 (right joystick down) to talk while other game like madden, ncaa and call of duty 4 doesn't required you to press anything to talk......good luck hope you figure it out!:D...Show more

Elsie Resner: it might be that the game has it's certain settings different from the ps3, like on my game (resistance) you have to press L3 to actually talk and on metal gear you have to fix the setting to bluetooth and press the select button before you can actually use the bluetooth to talk to people.You'll be able to hear them but as long as you don't know the button to press to ta! lk they won't be able to hear you

Cassidy Pangrazio: sure there s generally somewhat microphone speaker element whilst ur on a interest...and bluetooth is instantaneous so i dont think of u are assume to apply a cord...I actually have a motorola bluetooth headset and that i carry the button till it makes a beep sound. then it connects. are u going to the accessory settings and doing it from there?

Corrinne Ruozzo: you need to go into bluetooth settings on your PS3 and hit the connect button on your headset bluetooth and they will find each other and then you need to select your device from there and put in passcode of 0000(a default for most bluetooth headsets) it will then connect after that, because thats all it should take, if this doesn't work your headset is too old or uncompatible
